The ID physician training program Arts Verstandelijk Gehandicapten and the ID Medicine research department Academische Werkplaats GOUD had the pleasure of welcoming international guests! Trine Thilsing from SDU Sønderborg – University of Southern Denmark and Marie Broholm from Statens Institut for Folkesundhed in Denmark visited to explore our research projects and medical training for ID physicians.
The busy day ended with a networking drink at Westerpaviljoen, where our guests were introduced to a true Dutch specialty: bitterballen! Fun fact—our research department has even dedicated a special study to this beloved snack.
Great to exchange knowledge and experiences across borders!
